Abstract: Dutch disease happens when a country’s economy becomes overly reliant on the export of a single natural resource. This can have various negative implications, including the weakening of other sectors of the economy, a rise in the currency’s value, and an increase in the cost of living. This research investigates the evidence for Dutch Disease in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations. According to the study’s findings, there is some indication that Dutch Disease exists in these nations. The positive connections between gas production, raw petroleum output, and GDP suggest that increasing production of these commodities leads to economic expansion, as measured by GDP. However, the considerable negative link between the percentage of non-petroleum exports and the consumer price index shows that the non-petroleum export industry tends to diminish as gas and petroleum output grows. The study’s conclusions have a variety of ramifications for the GCC countries. For starters, it proposes that the government avoid using oil and gas earnings to fuel excessive government expenditure. That might lead to Dutch Disease and undermine the economy’s non-oil sector. Second, the government should adopt initiatives to encourage non-oil exports. This might include initiatives that encourage non-oil exports or aid in diversifying the economy away from natural resources.

Abstract: Brass an alloy of Copper and Zinc. Zinc has unique properties of hardness, workability and medicinal benefits that help the human body to increase its immunity from several diseases. A creative article under the broad umbrella of the Handicraft industry of India representing the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India and through its benefits it is been exported to various countries around the globe. The study aimed to unveil the problems and challenges faced by the industry. Especially focusing on the various schemes launched by the Government of India for the benefit of the Industry like Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojna, Mega Cluster Scheme, Marketing Support and Services Scheme and Research and Development Scheme. An attempt was made to describe the trend of the export of brass utensils worldwide through AREA charts representing the volume of brass utensils exported over a time series of 2014 to 2021. Major findings and conclusions are found based on it.

Abstract: Purpose – Remote working, today, involves the concept of Work from Anywhere (WFA) offering both temporal and geographical flexibility, which helps workers to choose where to live and enables them to work from a preferred location. It has gained more popularity in the last 2 years with the outbreak of the pandemic. As the majority of the organizations have adapted to this new normal, it is important to understand the productivity of the employees in such a scenario. The major reasons interrupting the workflow are technical issues, other distractions at home. On the other hand, it has a positive impact such as an increase in work-life balance. In this paper, the authors have tried to establish a relationship between work from home and employee well-being of IT employees, with the outcome as productivity. The purpose of this research is to find out if productivity is increased or decreased as a result of work from home. Design/ Methodology/ Approach – This is a conceptual research method used to identify work from home’s effect on employee well-being and productivity in the pandemic situation. This study is based on secondary data. Findings – This paper tries to study the relationship between work from home, which is the new normal situation, and productivity. Most research shows that work from home has led to an increase in productivity. This is also influenced by mediating effects of leadership style and demographics. Practical Implications – Based on this conceptual paper, an empirical study will be done on entry-level IT employees to test the relationship between work from home and employee well-being. Originality/value – It gives us a framework for building a model to depict the relationship between work from home and productivity.

Abstract: As the global economy continues to grow, companies are seeking new markets to expand their business. Rural markets have emerged as the next big target due to their vast and untapped potential. This review paper examines the factors contributing to the growth of rural markets, the challenges and opportunities in these markets, and the strategies that companies can use to enter these markets. The paper discusses the economic and social factors that have led to the growth of rural markets, as well as the challenges companies face, such as lack of infrastructure and low literacy rates. The paper also highlights the opportunities that rural markets offer, such as access to a large consumer base and lower competition. Furthermore, the paper provides case studies of successful companies that have entered rural markets and discusses the different strategies that companies can use to enter these markets, such as localization, innovation, and partnership. The paper concludes by summarizing the key points and discussing the future potential of rural markets, emphasizing how companies can prepare for this. Overall, this review paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the rural market and its potential as the next big target for businesses.

Abstract: Employee turnover is a constant challenge for companies especially in the highly competitive world of information Technology (IT).The aim of this study is to examine the impact of perceived organizational support and embeddedness on the turnover intention on IT professionals. Embeddedness refers to the degree of connection and commitment an employee feels within the organization. The data collection is made from a sample of IT professionals working in different organizations and quantitative research design is used for the study. The relationship of variable of interest is examined using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicates that perceived organizational support has a significant negative impact on the employee turnover intentions of IT professionals. This suggest that employee who receive high support from the organization are less likely to leave the organization.

Abstract: The individuals, belonging to all communities, categories and socio-economic backgrounds get subjected to various types of criminal and violent acts. These have unfavourable on physical and psychological health conditions of victims. The research studies have indicated that women and girls are experiencing these acts more as compared to their male counterparts. Furthermore, the victims get overwhelmed by the psychological problems of anxiety and depression as a consequence of experiencing these acts. The individuals, belonging to some of the rural households give preference to male children. On the other hand, they do not appreciate the birth of girls, hence, girls get subjected to different types of criminal and violent acts. Within homes, educational institutions, employment settings, and different types of public places, the feelings of anger and frustration are regarded as major causes that give rise to these acts. Hence, in order to promote well-being and goodwill, it is necessary for individuals to be well-equipped in terms of measures, which are necessary in curbing these acts. All types of measures are required to be put into operation in a positive manner. The individuals will be able to contribute efficiently in curbing these acts, when they will form positive viewpoints in terms of all individuals, treat others with respect and courtesy and possess an approachable nature and an amiable attitude. Therefore, it is well-understood, curbing criminal and violent acts is essential in promoting well-being of individuals and communities. The main concepts that are taken into account in this research paper are, effects of criminal and violent acts, measures to be implemented in curbing criminal and violent acts and consequences of curbing criminal and violent acts.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of marketing management on the increase of domestic and international sales. The statistical population consisted of all managers and experts of marketing department of decorative waterway company. Their number was equal to 87 people who were selected as sample size. To collect from the researcher-made questionnaire was used which its validity was confirmed by the experts’ opinions and its reliability was calculated by Cronbach’s alpha method of 0.74. For data analysis, Pearson test and multiple regressions were used. The results showed that the internal marketing dimensions (Employee motivation and satisfaction, customer orientation and development and expansion) and domestic sales and between foreign marketing (culture, political and economic conditions) and foreign sales there is a significant relationship. Also, according to multiple regression analysis, motivation and employee satisfaction in domestic sales and culture in external sales had the highest share in predicting sales growth.

Abstract: India has always been on the top spot in terms of tourism and has attracted domestic and foreign tourists throughout the year. India is the land of farmers, has a rich and diverse culture and is best known for its hospitality. Tourism has become a source of income for many people, therefore it’s time to connect tourism along with agriculture to enhance the income of Indian farmers. Indian farmers generally face a lot of issues related to their income; hence numerous suicide cases have been registered in the past. The objective of this research paper is to provide a solution for the farmers by introducing Agri- tourism Technology Park. Agri-tourism offers the domestic and foreign tourists an opportunity to connect with the heritage, providing a hands-on-experience, showcasing the rich biodiversity, local food products, handicrafts and culture. On the other hand, the amalgamation of technology can provide smooth and secure tourism experience for the visitors. This Park includes an agricultural patch of about 5 acres, earmarked to cater the needs of Rabi and Kharif crops. Latest agricultural crop growing techniques like vertical farming using 70% less water than traditional farming. Hydroponic system for demonstrating these techniques to Agri- tech park visitors to acquaint them with futuristic farming operations. Aquaponic solar greenhouse will be established for growing vegetables and medicinal plants. A space of about 1 acre shall be delineated for a cattle farm that would be used to rear different breeds of cows like Sahiwal and Hariana and buffalo breeds like Murrah and Nili Ravi. Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence techniques will be employed for monitoring cattle feed, nutrition and milk processing and general well-being of animals. Re – circulatory Aqua culture system will be used for high density stocking of fish in a smaller space. Interactive virtual field trips and activities will be offered in a variety of themes that would give information on the importance of plants, various cropping techniques, role of insects and the feeding and living pattern of animals, fish bees etc. The establishment of an Agri-tourism technology park at Amritsar district of Punjab has been planned with a focus on the sustainable development of human environment in and around the region.

Abstract: Purpose – Similar experiences, values and beliefs shared among people of a generational cohort determines the choices that they make. This explains why people of the same generational cohort have distinct perceptions and tendencies towards investing. This paper focuses on generation differences in personal finance decisions. Objectives- The objective of the paper is to group the different personal finance variables into identifiable factors and to compare these personal finance factors across generations. Methodology – Data is collected through a primary survey with a structured questionnaire, among 140 respondents in Kolkata and Ranchi. Questions have been asked on personal finance behaviour, with their responses on a Likert scale. A Factor Analysis has been conducted on these questions to group them into different factors contributing to personal finance behaviour. These identified factors are also compared across generations. Findings – It was concluded that younger generations invest for the objective of keeping funds for emergency purposes, whereas older generations invest for their retirement needs. Younger generations usually invest for the short run, whereas older generations invest for the long run. Also, younger generations invest in easily accessible and popular investment avenues, whereas older invest in the most effective avenue. The items had clustered around six factors namely, Financial Planning, Use of Technology, Financial Independence, Financial Irresponsibility, Financial Openness and Use of Credit Cards. Originality- Behavioral differences across generations is an area that is studied across diverse topics and disciplines. However, very scarce studies have been conducted to assess generational differences in financial behaviour. Practical Implications- This paper attempts to bridge this gap by collecting financial data from respondents of all generations and making a comparison among them. This helps to understand the reasons for differences in investment behaviour of generations.
